Australian Laser Nationals - First heat today
ADELAIDE, LARGS BAY, AUSTRALIA-(30-12-2002) There is currently a 2 - 7 knot North Westerly with the forecast as of 6am: Northeast winds 5/10 knots turning north to northwest and freshening to 17/22 knots during the afternoon.

Possible thundersqualls this afternoon and evening to 45 knots. Seas around 0.5 metres rising to 1 to 1.5 metres this afternoon.

In the full rig most the fleets pulled out of the races. In the first start Yoichi Iijima from Japan won over South Australian James Warnes.
